I'm 5'9" at about 165 lbs. I exercise regularly, about 4-5 times per week, but am going to really monitor my diet to slim down. Can I just count calories? Or do I need to be concerned with fat grams? What is a good recommended amount (of both, calories and fat) to lose about 2 lbs per week? My goal weight is about 145. Any tips or tricks for healthy eating? (The general ones of using skim milk vs whole or going light on dressing are things I do anyway.)
