What should I wear to the movies?

Today I am going to the movies with my school band and guard. The guy I like is in the band and I want to make a good impression. I was just wondering what to wear to impress him, and also not look like I'm trying to hard (I don't want my friends to suspect anything). The movie is at night so it will be cold probably fifties or sixties. && I'm going to dinner first :) Please HELP!
