Did you have in school lunches when you went to school in the fifties?

i went to a " country school " in first and second grade , i can still remember the wonderful lunches that were served , none of this prepackaged , precooked , bland tasting food they serve now , the was cooked from scratch , real meals , homemade noodles , real potatoes , gravy from scratch not from a can all cooked by farm ladies who knew how. and the milk came in small glass bottles from a local dairy just one of the many times i was experiencing a special moment and didn't realize
